Burghul is made from wheat kernels which are steamed and toasted before cracking, so that they develop a rich, nutty flavour. Bulghul also requires minimal cooking, since it is already partially cooked. Bulghul wheat can be used in pilafs, soups. This fine burghul is particularly good as a main ingredient in tabbouleh salad or as a breakfast porridge.
